We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our team! In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients across various settings, including private residences, assisted living facilities, and group homes. Your dedication will help clients maintain their independence while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being through attentive caregiving and assistance with daily activities.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medication following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s
; as needed for safety and comfort - Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Document care provided accurately in accordance with agency protocols and care plans
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home settings or working with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes promptly
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely when assisting clients or moving equipment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not required
