ASRC Federal is seeking a qualified Senior Endpoint Security Engineer to support a DoDEA client headquartered in Alexandria, VA. Onsite work is required, but some telework is possible upon government authorization.

This role plays a critical part in defending DoDEA’s enterprise assets by designing, implementing, and managing endpoint security solutions. The engineer will help identify threats, reduce attack surfaces, and maintain endpoint compliance across all supported environments.

The engineer will help identify threats, reduce attack surfaces, and maintain endpoint compliance across all supported environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools across Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices.
- Develop and implement endpoint security policies to support the organization’s risk management strategy.
- Conduct real-time monitoring and analysis of endpoint alerts and respond to potential threats and malicious activity.
- Coordinate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate endpoint-related security incidents.
- Perform regular system and endpoint audits to ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, IAVA, and internal cybersecurity policies.
- Utilize threat intelligence and IOCs to enhance endpoint protection mechanisms and detection capabilities.
- Support forensic analysis and investigations involving compromised or misconfigured endpoints.
- Automate patch management and system hardening tasks using approved security tools and frameworks.
- Document configurations, incident reports, standard procedures, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
- Contribute to the improvement of endpoint visibility and reporting through dashboards and security metrics.
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study
