The Contracts Intern position will assist the Contracts department with activities which include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting/editing correspondence and proposal elements
- Contract structure compliance
- Data calls; weekly and monthly reports
- Department process improvement initiatives including developing and processing user-friendly tracking systems
- Contract Closeout and gathering/preparing files for records management
This intern will gain insight into the Contracting process, terms and conditions, and Federal and Defense regulations governing DoD contracts and subcontracts. The candidate must be detail-oriented and have a working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Word.
