ASRC Federal is seeking a Quality Control Specialist, Clinical Data to join our team supporting our NIH customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring the integrity of clinical trial databases.
- Perform data reviews and quality control procedures.
- Identify quality control checks that can be automated as new studies are computerized.
- Compare extracted data views prior to submission to identify errors, omissions, and discrepancies; notify research teams of issues using established processes.
- Document and resolve data clarifications in collaboration with the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team.
- Track and report defects and data-related problems, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Document paper and electronic submissions to monitoring agencies and study sponsors.
- Identify trends and sentinel events attributable to systems, personnel, or clinical issues to support process improvements and training initiatives.
- BS/BA in a health or medical–related field with 3 years of relevant experience OR 7 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with clinical databases and strong understanding of clinical data.
- Proven problem-solving and organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to understand clinical data and recognize acceptable clinical values.
- Proficiency with clinical database systems.
