ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced AI Engineer – Intermediate to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The AI Engineer will work witha small, focused team of other AI Engineers and a Data Architectsupporting the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools across ACC. These tools will enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, improve communication, and automate key project management functions.
The engineer will work oncross-functional collaboration efforts with data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and subject matter experts. Solutions will leverageAI technologies such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and other enterprise AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Work inan AI/ML team supporting enterprise-wide automation, analytics, and insight initiatives
- Coordinate technical delivery of AI solutions aligned to mission-specific use cases
- Design, develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for real-world application
- Evaluate model performance and implement improvements based on user and system feedback
- Analyze and preprocess large datasets for use in AI/ML pipelines
- Deploy AI/ML models in secure, on-premises environments, ensuring performance and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and refine solutions for maximum impact
- Use platforms such as Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Copilot to create actionable insights and automation tools
- Draft documentation and provide guidance on AI usage to non-technical users
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in AI/ML.
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- AI/ML platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or similar enterprise tools
- Experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Model development, training, optimization, and deployment
- Preprocessing and analyzing large data sets
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and guide technical teams
- Ability to define and document AI/ML use cases in coordination with stakeholders
- Experience working inAI/ML initiatives within DoD or federal government environments
- Familiarity with Agile development and MLO pspractices
- Exposure to Python-based ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
- Experience integrating AI models into enterprise software systems
- Minimum active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution
- Security Required
