Responsibilities
- Hire, supervise and/or manage the training, evaluation and retention of Respite Care staff.
- Receives referrals for Respite Care and completes intakes for the program.
- Assists with the billing and payroll process for Respite Care.
- Maintains and updates databases for assigned services.
- Establishes and maintains a variety of records, written plans, and analysis regarding staff or department performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Experience with people with disabilities or another human service group preferred.
- Microsoft Office computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals.
- Ability to train/coach others
- Flexible and adaptable.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. The employee works in varied residential environments.
Hours:
Hours will vary between 20-24 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend hours will be required to accommodate families' s
