Aspire XDock is a rapidly growing cross dock operations company focused on building high performance terminal operations that support fast paced freight movement for large scale distribution networks. We are seeking a strong operational leader to manage an existing terminal in Greensboro, NC.

Position Overview
The Terminal Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, safety, and operational success of the terminal. This role oversees all dock, yard, gate, and operational functions to ensure efficient freight flow, customer service, safety compliance, and employee performance.
The Terminal Manager must be comfortable leading within a fast-paced environment while executing established company procedures, operational standards, and customer requirements. Although Aspire XDock utilizes standardized processes and SOPs across operations, each terminal requires strong leadership and adaptability to support site specific operational needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead all day-to-day terminal operations including dock, yard, and gate activities
- Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate freight movement
- Drive terminal performance related to safety, productivity, service, trailer flow, and quality metrics
- Hire, train, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly employees
- Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the terminal
- Forecast staffing needs and ensure workforce levels support changing operational demand
- Monitor labor hours, scheduling, and overall terminal efficiency
- Monitor and manage KPIs, labor utilization, and operational efficiency to meet customer and company expectations
- Utilize operational systems, handheld scanners, and reporting tools to support real-time terminal management and performance tracking
- Analyze performance trends and implement corrective actions to improve operational results
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and customer requirements
- Partner with recruiting and HR teams to support staffing efforts and hiring initiatives
- Conduct performance management and corrective action when necessary
- Execute and maintain established operational procedures while supporting site specific operational requirements
- Maintain professional communication with customers, drivers, vendors, and internal leadership
- Promote a culture of accountability, urgency, teamwork, and safety
Qualifications
- Previous terminal, warehouse, logistics, transportation, or cross dock leadership experience required
- Experience managing supervisors and large hourly teams preferred
- Experience working with warehouse management systems, handheld RF scanners, and operational reporting tools preferred
- Experience managing productivity and performance metrics within a transportation or cross dock environment preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with safety programs, performance metrics, staffing management, and employee development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational systems
- Ability to travel for training or business need

- Must be available to support day, night, weekend, and holiday operations as needed
