Position Summary: Lead DCAA compliance, audit readiness, and government contract accounting initiatives to ensure compliance with DCAA, FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements. Partner with Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Procurement, HR, and Program teams to support audits, incurred cost submissions, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead DCAA audit readiness, coordination, responses, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and federal government contracting regulations.
- Prepare and review incurred cost submissions, indirect rates, provisional billing rates, and forward pricing proposals.
- Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, labor charging, timekeeping, and expense reporting.
- Support ERP/financial systems (Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for compliant processes.
- Support contract pricing, cost proposals, audit findings, and subcontractor compliance.
- Develop compliance training, documentation, and executive-level reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 7 years supporting U.S. federal government contractors in accounting, compliance, or audit.
- Strong expertise in DCAA, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government contract accounting.
- Hands-on experience with incurred cost submissions, indirect rates, audit support, and billing rates.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, CGFM, or similar certification.
- Deltek Costpoint implementation/configuration experience.
- Experience with DCMA compliance, CMMC, and NIST SP 800-171.
- Background supporting DoD, NASA, or other federal agencies.
- Experience leading multi-year audits and corrective action programs.
