Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans for our residents
Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical status, identifying strengths and limitations
Develop and implement effective treatment modalities, including exercises, stretches, and training programs
Provide support and education to residents, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatment sessions and progress
Meet and exceed quality and productivity standards
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) studies or related field
Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the State of Missouri
Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors and their families
Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents as needed
