Care Advocate (Caregiver Supervisor / Care Coordinator)

Location: Jackson County, OR (Medford, Ashland, Central Point, Eagle Point, Gold Hill, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Rogue River, Shady Cove, Talent)
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Care Advocate to oversee and support our caregiving team in Josephine County. This full-time position is responsible for caregiver supervision, client assessments, scheduling support, and ensuring high-quality in-home care delivery. The ideal candidate has strong caregiving experience and is ready to advance into a leadership role within the home care field.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor caregiving staff, including Home Care Aides and Personal Care Assistants
- Conduct client assessments and coordinate caregiver–client matching
- Assist with scheduling, communication, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with company standards
- Provide direct caregiving coverage as needed to ensure all shifts are filled
- Collaborate with office leadership to support care quality and staff development
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience in home care, senior care, or a related field
- Prior experience in a lead, supervisory, or mentoring role
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic data entry
- Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: From $19.00 per hour (W2)
- Schedule: Full-time; flexible hours required
- Work Location: Josephine County, OR (in-person role)
