Part-Time Caregiver / Personal Care Aide – $25/hr
Location: West Denver, CO
Pay: Starting at $25/hour with increase after 3 months
Schedule: Part-time, 3 days/week, 20–25 hours total
Overview
Seeking in-home, part-time caregiver/personal aide for a 36 year-old woman with complex chronic health issues looking for a dependable, compassionate part-time caregiver to become a consistent part of her support network.
This is a one-on-one position in the home and community. Looking for someone who is proactive, organized, comfortable with personal care, and interested in a long-term position.
Previous caregiving or medical experience is appreciated, but not required for the right person.
Schedule
Approximately 2–3 days per week, generally on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and/or Friday.
Typical shifts are about 8 hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. There is some flexibility, and we will build a consistent schedule together. However, hours must fall between 9am-6pm.
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation and kitchen cleanup
- Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, linens and organizing
- Personal care, including assistance with hair washing/styling and nail care
- Transportation to medical appointments and errands
- Helping schedule and organize appointments
- Organizing medications, medical supplies and infusion supplies
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks and routines related to chronic illness
- Providing dependable, practical support while helping client maintain some independence
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive to appointments and errands
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to assist with wheelchair for outings
- Ability to pass required background screening
- Reliable attendance and communication
- Comfortable working in a private home
- Willingness to follow infection-prevention precautions and avoid working while ill
Ideal candidate
- Experience in caregiving or medical training/background
- Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills
- Compassionate and comfortable around complex medical needs
- Someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative
- Comfortable balancing personal care, household tasks and frequent errands
- Ability to commit to the position for at least 6 months! Become like a family member

Pay & employment
Starting pay is $25/hour, with the potential for increased pay based on experience, reliability, and long-term fit.
This is a W-2 employee position through Colorado’s Consumer-Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS) program, not a 1099 independent-contractor position.
I directly select, train, schedule and supervise my caregiver. A CDASS Financial Management Services provider handles payroll, employment tax withholding and related employment administration. A paid trial period would occur before fully onboarding.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
