As a Relief Operator, you will provide operational coverage across multiple production lines, collaborate with machine operators and leads, and ensure adherence to GMPs and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a Relief Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Relief Operator, you will provide operational coverage across multiple production lines, collaborate with machine operators and leads, and ensure adherence to GMPs and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 3rd
- Hours: 10:00PM – 6:30AM
- Weekend Availability: Required
- Hourly Rate: $25
- Provide operational coverage across multiple production lines while following SOPs and equipment manuals.
- Maintain adherence to GMPs, health and safety rules, and food safety practices during relief assignments.
- Utilize Aspire AOE training with Centerline and CIL daily management systems.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform daily area walks to detect issues and defects, helping reduce waste levels.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months as an Ingredient Operator or related experience.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced production or packing environment preferred.
- Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and make adjustments when necessary.
- Basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment.
- Ability to write clearly and legibly and possess effective verbal and written skills in English.
- Ability to work with computers and operating screens.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and processes.
- Experience in food manufacturing environments.
