Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Coordinator to support Networks, Integration & Automation (NIA) projects across the United States. This position plays a critical role in the installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of electronic equipment and communications infrastructure in mission-critical environments. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, field personnel, and clients to ensure successful project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities- Perform intermediate-level pre-engineering site visits utilizing established checklists and project requirements.
- Conduct testing of cables, pinouts, fiber optic systems, feedlines, automation points, and related infrastructure using industry-standard testing equipment.
- Perform cable tracing, loopback testing, fiber optic testing, terminal testing, and communications verification.
- Install, modify, and maintain rack-mounted and wall-mounted electronic equipment.
- Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling through existing raceways and pathways.
- Jumper fiber and copper connections to devices, patch panels, and fiber distribution panels (FDPs).
- Install and remove device SFPs and perform low-voltage cable terminations including 66 blocks, 110 blocks, RJ11 connections, and wire-wrap terminations.
- Troubleshoot device-based, electronic, communications, and application-level issues, making adjustments as required to meet client specifications.
- Commission systems and perform client application verification in accordance with accepted industry commissioning standards.
- Review, update, and maintain as-built documentation for final publication and client records.
- Assess installation readiness and verify compliance with design specifications prior to commissioning activities.
- Power up equipment using standard electrical panels, breakers, and rack fuse systems.
- Verify successful equipment startup and operational status.
- Connect to devices and load baseline configurations following established industry standards and project requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with client field personnel regarding project scope, schedule, progress updates, and equipment disposition.
- Ensure compliance with company safety programs, site-specific requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support project teams with field engineering and startup activities as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Associate Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Field Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mission-critical environments; OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 12 years of applicable experience in mission-critical environments may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Description:
If candidate is not local to Akron, OH - per diem will be available - ***/day x 7 days. Candidate MUST reside 70 miles (one way) from home to project to qualify for per diem.

The Staff Integration Coordinator will work on project teams install rack or wall mount electronic equipment, make ready cabling, field engineering support, commissioning, and start-up solutions for project deliverables for client Networks, Integration & Automation (NIA) projects throughout the nation.
Perform intermediate pre-engineering site visits per defined checklists.
• Perform testing of cables, pinouts, fiber, feedline, automation points, etc. using applicable tools to include test fiber optic cables, toggle and test automation points at cutouts, test terminals, trace cables; ringtone if cable without tone, butt set for cable with tone, conduct loopback tests to remote ends, test radio feedline for coax and waveguide on device-based, electronic and application tests.
• Perform physical changes based on design specifications: inside building fiber, copper cabling via existing raceway, install rack- or wall-mount devices, jumper fiber, copper cables to devices / FDPs / patch panels, install/remove device SFPs, punch down low-voltage cables (66/110 blocks, RJ11 for phones, wire-wrap), etc.
• Responsible for troubleshooting on device- based, electronic and application tests making changes as needed to meet client specifications.
• Commission site and client application verification according to industry accepted commissioning standards.
• Review and update intermediate level as-built documentation for publication to client.
• Assess physical installation readiness for commissioning based on design specifications.
• Power on devices using standard panel breaker and rack fuses.
• Conduct visual confirmation of successful device turn-up.
• Connect to devices and load base configurations per industry standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with client field staff on scope, progress, and return of removed devices.
• Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in information technology/systems, electrical/electronics, field/construction engineering or related degree and min 10 years experience in mission-critical environments (military, utility, industrial, transportation, etc.) or related field is Required or High School Degree and min 12 years applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement is Required.
Strong understanding of electrical and communications systems and industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad assignments and devise new approaches to problems encountered.

Network experience and DC power systems knowledge is highly recommended for this position.
