What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial HVAC equipment.
- Work on equipment including:
- Rooftop Units (RTUs)
- Split systems
- VRF systems
- Chillers
- Boilers
- Pumps
- HVAC controls and related systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency service.
- Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical HVAC issues.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and recommendations.
- Provide professional, high-quality service while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Mentor and support junior technicians when needed.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and safety.
- Complete service-related documentation using company-provided technology.
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and professional.
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC controls.
- Building automation system experience.
- Experience with VRF systems, chillers, boilers, pumps, and commercial rooftop equipment.
- Previous Lead Technician or senior-level field experience.
- Experience mentoring less-experienced technicians.
- $35-$50 per hour based on experience.
- Lucrative sign-on bonus and incentives may be available.
