Location: Tucson, AZ

Duration: 12 Months

PR: $70 - $76 hr. On W2

Notes: This is an onsite position for an AI Solutions Architect with 4 years of experience.

Job Description:

• As the AI Solutions Architect, you will support the automation and digitization of product development workflows for the Client Development Organization.
• In this role, you will create custom technical solutions to assist our scientists and engineers in accelerating innovation.
• Your daily impact involves generating innovative automation design solutions, testing for performance, and identifying prime opportunities to design and deploy Generative AI and Robotic Process Automation solutions.
• You are expected to assess system interactions, develop new automated workflows, and simplify with long term solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workflow Transformation: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to audit and map complex diagnostic workflows, identifying bottlenecks and designing "future state" processes that transition analog tasks into digitized, automated systems.
• AI Solution Architecture: Design and deploy end-to-end technical solutions utilizing LLMs, scripting (Python/Bash), and integration tools to automate manual data entry and information retrieval.
• Quality & Risk Mitigation: Develop and manage rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI outputs, ensuring quality checks are in place to mitigate hallucinations and maintain strict adherence to data privacy and security compliance.
• Prompt & API Engineering: Design, test, and refine complex prompt structures and manage the integration of AI APIs into existing business systems to enhance organizational productivity.
• Performance Tracking: Establish baseline productivity metrics and track KPIs to measure the ROI and time saved through newly implemented automated processes.
• Strategic Change Management: Lead the rollout of new AI tools across the organization, providing technical communication that translates complex concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders to ensure high adoption rates.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• LLM & Generative AI Expertise: Advanced proficiency in state-of-the-art models, including a deep understanding of token limits, specific model constraints, and appropriate use cases for varying architectures.
• Systems Architecture & Digitization: Proven ability to architect solutions that bridge siloed data environments and create accessible, digitized information flows.
• Communication: Proven skill in bridging the communication gap between specialized Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical teams, ensuring that AI solutions address the specific pain points of a product development environment.
• Technical Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python or Bash and hands-on experience with automation platforms.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Strong capability to take ambiguous, manual problems and engineer streamlined, scalable, and autonomous solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional ability to partner with scientists and engineering teams, translating technical requirements into operational excellence.
• Strategic Decision Making: Critical thinking skills to determine the most efficient tool for a task, knowing when to deploy a complex AI model versus a simple, cost-effective script.

Education requirement:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline with 4 yrs experience OR
• MS with 2 yrs or PhD
