What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Ashwell & Ashwell, PLLC?
Established law firm seeks associate attorney to concentrate on multiple practice areas, including criminal and civil litigation, domestic relations and family law. Candidate should be self-motivated, team-oriented, take initiative and be a problem-solver. Must be licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating, and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients.
Salary and or compensation commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to clients and assist attorneys
- Appear in Court to litigate multiple subject areas
- Maintain client relationships
- Prepare legal reports and documents
Qualifications
- Licensed with the Virginia State Bar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong legal knowledge
