We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team, with a focus on personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. This role will initially center on evaluating and making decisions on incoming client intakes, with the opportunity to grow into full case handling and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate incoming personal injury and workers’ compensation intakes
- Analyze facts, liability, and potential damages to determine case viability
- Make timely, well-reasoned decisions on accepting or declining matters
- Communicate with intake staff and attorneys regarding case evaluations
- Assist with case development, strategy, and progression as responsibilities expand
- Manage a high volume of matters while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the state bar (or ability to become licensed promptly)
- Interest in or experience with personal injury and/or workers’ compensation law
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
