What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Assistant position at Ashton Medical Lodge?
Daily floor shifts focus on running scheduled group events and set daily routines across our resident halls. You will work alongside our Activity Director to set up activity spaces, bring residents to group areas, and clean up materials after each event. Shift routines keep our common areas structured and active throughout the day.
Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: Starting at $15/hr, scaling upward with experience
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8AM - 5PM

Responsibilities
- Transport residents safely to and from daily group activities, crafts, and games.
- Set up activity tables, audio equipment, and supplies before each scheduled event.
- Lead daily scheduled group programs including bingo, table games, and group exercise.
- Assist individual residents during activities with craft supplies, game pieces, or reading materials.
- Clean and sanitize activity spaces and store equipment properly at the end of each shift.

Qualifications & Requirements
- No certification required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must pass a standard criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
