As a Customer Support Associate, you will be the friendly face of a program dedicated to helping residents access essential telecommunications services. As a Customer Support Associate, you’ll be part of a team bringing reliable wireless service to underserved neighborhoods. You’ll guide residents through service choices, recommend smart solutions based on usage, and ensure every enrollment is smooth, accurate, and campaign-ready. You’ll also play a key role in keeping outreach organized and client records up to date, helping the campaign stay responsive and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Support Associate
- Conduct structured outreach in assigned communities to raise awareness about wireless service options available through the community program.
- Explain service benefits, eligibility criteria, and enrollment steps in clear, everyday language, helping clients make informed decisions.
- As a Customer Support Associate, offer personalized recommendations based on client needs, usage habits, and program guidelines, then assist with completing applications.
- Use mobile tools to track outreach activity, manage client records, and ensure enrollment data is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with campaign leads and fellow Customer Support Associate team members to refine messaging, share feedback, and improve outreach strategies.
- Monitor individual performance metrics and contribute to team goals for service activations, client satisfaction, and program growth.
Minimum Qualifications of the Customer Support Associate
- High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in Business, Marketing, or Communications is a plus.
- 0–2 years of experience in outreach, sales, customer service, or client engagement preferred; structured internships and community-based project work are also valued.
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to explain service options in everyday language.
- Friendly, professional attitude with the resilience to stay focused and energized during field-based outreach.
- Comfort using mobile tools to track outreach activity, manage client records, and stay organized on the go.
