What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Event Crew - Full-Time Aug-Dec - $16-$17/hr + Driver Pay position at Ascension Party Rentals?
Fall is our biggest season: LSU game days, festivals, corporate events, and parties across the Baton Rouge metro. Ascension Party Rentals (Gonzales) is hiring experienced seasonal crew from now through December 20.
Schedule: Friday through Monday is your core work week, plus one additional weekday (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) as scheduled. Most weeks run 25-35 hours; big event weekends push toward 40. Schedule posts a week in advance and your days stay consistent. Hours are there for people who want them.
This is a seasonal full-time position with a defined end date of December 20. Strong performers get offered permanent spots.
What you'll do:
- Set up and take down tents, tables, chairs, staging, and inflatables
- Load and unload trucks
- Work outdoors on a crew in Louisiana heat and weather. Can be hard physical days of work.
Requirements:
- 18
- Prior physical work experience: construction, warehouse, landscaping, moving, events, or similar
- Clean driving record a plus, and driver hours pay more ( $1.00 to $2.50/hr)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outside in Louisiana weather
Strong seasonal performers get offered permanent spots on our published raise ladder, which runs up to $29.59/hr.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
