- Safely transport adult day center participants to and from the center, medical appointments, and community outings while maintaining reliable, on-time schedules.
- Provide hands-on assistance by helping participants safely enter and exit the vehicle, securing wheelchairs and mobility devices, and ensuring a comfortable, compassionate ride.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness, safety, and accurate transportation logs while promptly reporting maintenance needs or incidents.
- Support the transportation team by adapting routes as needed, following all traffic laws and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service to participants and caregivers.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Heart Saver AED obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Chauffeur preferred.
- Drivers License specializing in Commercial preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
