Responsibilities

Manage operations of assigned area and/or programs.

  • Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.

Requirements

License / Certifications / Registration:

  • One or more of the following:
    • Social Worker obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required or
    • Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker highly preferred.
  • Experience in long term care highly preferred.
