How you’ll make an impact in this role
- As a Nurse Assistant Student, you will assist professional staff in caring for the personal needs and comfort of our residents. Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, and bedmaking.
- Practice safe transferring, lifting, turning, and positioning of residents using appropriate devices.
- Obtain and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and track resident weights or intake/output.
- Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding, recording oral intake, and completing meal assessment sheets.
- Prepare rooms for new admissions, assist with discharges, and clean medical equipment to maintain a clutter-free environment.
Education:
- H.S Diploma or GED preferred.
- Enrolled in current CNA Program required.
- Experience working in health related field or service industry preferred
