Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Corporate & Litigation Legal Assistant for its client's Miami office.
Legal Secretary – Corporate & Litigation
Miami, FL (Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 remote)
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 overtime eligibility
We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our client's Miami office in a high-priority capacity. This role will support a team of attorneys across corporate matters, with significant exposure to litigation work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to 5 attorneys and 1 paralegal
- Offer executive-level support to the CEO when present in the office
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and communications
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with filings and litigation-related tasks
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and client interactions
- Maintain organized and accurate case files and records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of legal secretary experience
- Current experience supporting a corporate legal practice, with litigation exposure required
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to interact with senior leadership
- Stable work history with strong tenure
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable, receptive to feedback, and eager to grow professionally
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
