About the Role:
We are seeking a driven Associate Attorney to join our Community Association practice group. This role will focus on representing condominium and homeowner associations in matters involving governance, enforcement, and construction/contract related disputes, including litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and revise contracts, amendments, and association-related legal documents
- Prepare legal opinions and board meeting materials
- Attend and advise at association meetings
- Litigation involving covenant enforcement, construction defects, turnover issues, and Chapter 558 pre-suit claims
- Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys on complex legal matters
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Prior experience working with condominium or homeowner associations is preferred
- Ability to respond and transition to client needs in fast paced environment
- Some litigation experience preferred
- Preferred but Not Required : Familiarity with NetDocuments, AIM, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and iCONECT.
