Position: Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant
Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to attorneys handling workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers in both English and Spanish
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials
- Collect, review, and organize medical records, claims, and case files
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in a high-volume environment
- Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure timely follow-ups on all case activities
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 1–3 years of experience working in a law firm (workers’ compensation experience preferred)
- Experience handling pre-litigation and/or litigation files
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
