Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, month-end close, and supporting FP&A initiatives. Ideal candidates bring strong technical accounting skills, advanced Excel expertise, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (FP&A)
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Excel
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Experience partnering with FP&A teams
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
