We are seeking a strong, experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting operations. - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules for multiple locations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy
- Manage general ledger accounts, perform account reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, construction in process, software in development, depreciation schedules, and lease accounting (ASC 842)
- Handle complex revenue recognition, accruals, and expense allocations
- Prepare and review supporting documentation for external audits and tax filings
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, variances, and provide actionable insights to management
- Develop, implement, and improve accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants and accounting staff
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Support special projects as assigned, including system implementations and process automation
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); CPA license preferred but not required
- Experience: 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar)
- Experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is a plus
