Construction industry or subcontractor accounting experience is required. This subcontractor construction company has been in business for 40 years. Outstanding reputation. $70m in annual revenues with continuous growth.

Position Title: Construction Project Accountant

Location: Doral Area

Salary: $90K-$110K

Additional Info & Technical Skill Set Required:

• Construction industry accounting experience
• Monthly General Ledger, Multiple Entity Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, AP/AR
• Month End Close, quarter end close, year-end close
• Analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, job cost reporting, and project profitability analysis.
• AIA billing
• % of completion
• Job Costing
• Labor Costs
• Biling & Lien Waivers
• QuickBooks / Advanced Excel
• 150 employees
• 6 employees in the Accounting department, including 2 purchasing staff
• $60m to $80m annual revenues
• Medical and Dental offered.

Job Requirements:

To qualify, candidates must have:

• Minimum of 5 years Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced Excel
