Ascendo Resources is partnering with a well-established regional law firm in Charleston, SC on their search for a Trust & Estates Paralegal. This is a full-time, fully on-site role supporting a busy and highly regarded Wealth, Trust & Estate Planning practice group.
They are looking for a polished, organized professional who can hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully to a client-facing team from day one.
The Role — what you'll be doing:
›Opening and maintaining client files with care and confidentiality
›Drafting, producing, and revising legal documents for the estate planning team
›Supporting attorney scheduling, calendar coordination, and day-to-day workflow
›Preparing signature binders, organizing closing documents, and managing mailings
The Requirements:
›At least 1–2 years of prior legal experience; trust & estates background strongly preferred
›Strong MS Office and PDF skills, with excellent typing and document management abilities
›A polished, professional presence and the ability to interface confidently with attorneys and clients
›A self-starter mentality — highly organized, able to prioritize, and comfortable working under pressure
›Flexibility to work beyond standard hours during busy periods when the work demands it
