A financial institution is seeking an AML Associate to support its financial crimes program across KYC/CDD and transaction monitoring. This role offers strong exposure across the customer lifecycle, combining client due diligence with investigative work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial, periodic, and event-driven KYC/CDD reviews for individuals and businesses
- Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and analyze activity for potential suspicious behavior
- Identify inconsistencies across client profiles and transactional activity and escalate as needed
- Support SAR preparation and ensure clear, timely documentation of investigations
- Apply a risk-based approach across all reviews and investigations
- Collaborate with KYC, surveillance, and compliance teams
Qualifications
- 2 years of AML, KYC, or transaction monitoring experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
- Working knowledge of AML/BSA regulations and escalation protocols
- Familiarity with tools such as Actimize, FIS, World-Check, or LexisNexis
- ACAMS preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
