A growing alternative investment firm is seeking a marketing manager to drive brand visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation across digital platforms, content marketing, and industry events. This role will play a key part in shaping the firm’s market presence and engaging institutional investors, allocators, and high-net-worth individuals.
The ideal candidate brings experience within alternative investments or financial services and has a strong understanding of how to communicate complex investment strategies to sophisticated audiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive LinkedIn strategy to increase engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth
• Create, schedule, and publish content including thought leadership, market insights, firm updates, and multimedia assets
• Monitor performance metrics (engagement, impressions, growth, conversions) and optimize strategy based on data insights
• Support and enhance executive social media presence through content and strategic guidance
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
• Produce high-quality content including white papers, blogs, newsletters, case studies, and investment commentary
• Partner with investment professionals to translate complex strategies into clear, compelling messaging
• Maintain an editorial calendar and ensure consistent brand voice across all channels
• Manage relationships with external content creators, designers, and agencies
• Oversee website content updates and support SEO initiatives
• Identify and evaluate relevant industry conferences, sponsorships, and networking opportunities
• Manage logistics for events, including conferences, investor meetings, and firm-hosted events (e.g., roundtables, webinars)
• Develop event materials, messaging, and follow-up strategies to maximize ROI
• Partner with sales and investor relations teams to align outreach and engagement efforts
• Track and report on event performance and maintain a database of opportunities
• Support press outreach including drafting press releases, media pitches, and announcements
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media contacts in financial services
• Coordinate media opportunities such as interviews, articles, and commentary placements for firm leadership
• Monitor industry news and identify opportunities for timely media engagement
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or related field
• 7 years of marketing experience, preferably within alternative investments, asset management, or financial services
• Proven experience managing LinkedIn and digital marketing strategies with measurable results
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
• Experience planning and executing events and conference sponsorships
• Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Hootsuite, Canva, Google Analytics or similar)
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
• Experience marketing to institutional investors, family offices, or high-net-worth clients
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services marketing
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, DealCloud)
• Knowledge of marketing automation, email campaigns, and lead generation strategies
