What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager position at Ascendo Resources?
We are seeking a hands-on EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs within a manufacturing environment. This role will drive compliance, safety culture, and continuous improvement across sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all EHS programs: safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, and emergency response
- Drive safety culture and coach leadership on best practices
- Manage EHS training and risk assessments (HIRA, JHA/JSA)
- Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and regulatory reporting (TRI, Tier II)
- Partner with engineering on process safety and MOC processes
- Lead safety walks and Emergency Response Team
- Utilize EHS systems (Sphera, Gensuite, HSI SDS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Safety, Environmental, or related field
- 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and compliance standards
- CSP/CIH preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills

Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
