About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join their growing team. This is a fully onsite position responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and collections.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable billing and invoice entry
- Process accounts payable invoices and payment entries
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Monitor customer accounts and assist with collections activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and Journal Entries
- ERP system experience required (SAP Business One experience highly preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in Newark, NJ
- Preferred commute within 30 minutes of the office
- Reliable transportation required

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
