About the Role
- Job Title: Data Product Owner
- Location: Seattle, 98134
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in data product management, data governance, or data platform roles
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated experience defining, integrating, and consolidating disparate data sources — such as spreadsheets and system exports — into a single, unified, governed data set
- Working fluency with modern AI-assisted data tooling (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate hands-on data work
- Player-coach leadership — able to both perform the data work and lead and mentor other data resources, including through dotted-line leadership
- Strong data definition, modeling, stewardship, and documentation discipline
- Experience with data pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt)
- Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and observability tools
- Familiarity with data catalog and lineage tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Purview)
- Knowledge of master data management (MDM) concepts and practices
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to validate data usability
- Familiarity with data testing, version control (Git), and Agile delivery practices
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
