Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Take reservations and manage waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Provide menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations
- Ensure guest comfort throughout their dining experience by checking in periodically
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host/host station and dining areas
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with guest check-in, seating, and departure procedures to enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous Host/Host experience or food service background preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel guest services or hospitality industry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in serving or restaurant operations is beneficial but not required
