What are the responsibilities and job description for the WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP position at ArtsQuest?
Brief Description
The Web Development Intern will work on a variety of diverse and exciting projects including adding & editing content for six branded websites, using Photoshop to edit and post images and photo galleries, and assisting with HTML & PHP projects based on skill level. This internship is geared toward students studying Information Technologies or a related field.

The internship application process involves five steps:
Step 1: The applicant will submit their application through the online application form to the ArtsQuest Internship Department for review
Step 2: Qualified applicants will be contacted for a phone interview. Students can expect to be contacted within 2-3 weeks from the submission of their application.
Step 3: Successful phone interview candidates will be contacted to schedule an in-person interview with the appropriate department
Step 4: In-person interview candidates are reviewed and discussed
Step 5: Top applicants are sent an offer letter and are invited to attend an internship orientation

Responsibilities May Include:
- Processing and adding event data to WordPress website as well as the Musikfest and Levitt app
- Resizing images, adding and formatting content
- Assist in the maintenance of the website
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
- Assist the Senior Web Content Specialist as needed
- Interns will be required to work at least 16-24 hours per week, or as needed to fulfill credit requirements

- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
- Assist the Web Development manager as needed
- Interns will be required to work at least 16-24 hours per week, or as needed to fulfill credit requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Prior knowledge of WordPress, its functions and capabilities
- Working knowledge or proficiency with HTML, CSS, or other languages
- Intern must be organized and detail oriented
- An interest or passion for the arts
- Able to set and adhere to strict deadlines
- Prior experience with web development is a plus
