Job Summary
The Web Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive website designs. This role will work closely with developers, marketing teams, and content creators to deliver high-quality digital experiences that align with brand guidelines and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design website layouts, landing pages, and UI elements with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
- Convert design concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design accuracy during implementation.
- Maintain brand consistency across all web and digital assets.
- Optimize designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop responsiveness.
- Stay updated on design trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging web technologies.
- Assist with basic HTML/CSS edits when needed.
- Conduct design reviews and gather feedback to improve user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
- Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing web and responsive design projects.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.04 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
