OKTOBERFEST ACTOR

Job Summary:    

Cast members help run games and contests such as stein holding, wiener dog races, pup parades, drag shows, and more! Cast members will be asked to MC many of these events so must be comfortable talking to large crowds on a microphone.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Run and host multiple games and events
• Be knowledgeable on Oktoberfest events
• Act as an Oktoberfest ambassador for patrons with questions or concerns

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Be able to speak clearly into a microphone and/or megaphone
• Ability to remember and enforce games rules and guidelines
• Work well with a team of cast members to create a fun and safe environment for Oktoberfest activities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently walk, stand, stoop, bend, communicate verbally.  
• Must be able to lift 10 pounds.

Dates of Work

• In-Person Audition Date: Thursday September 10^th  6-7PM
• Rehearsal: Tuesday September 29^th  6-7PM
• Oktoberfest – 10/2, 10/3, 10/4, 10/9, 10/10, 10/11 
• Note:  9/30 from 6p – 7p p.m. is mandatory. Actors must be able to work a minimum of two shifts of Oktoberfest.

Hours of Work

• Actors are required to work a minimum of two shifts during Oktoberfest hours.
• Hours of work will be determined based on the actor’s availability.

·        Oktoberfest Hours

• Fri (10/2 & 10/9) - 5pm-11pm
• Sat (10/3 & 10/10) - 12pm-10pm
• Sun (10/4 & 10/11) - 12pm-6pm
