Sparkle Car Wash is looking for energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic Scare Actors to join us for our annual haunted car wash event, The Haunt!
This is a temporary short-term position classified as casual labor for our limited-run Halloween event. If you love Halloween, dressing up, getting into character, and making people scream, this could be the perfect seasonal opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do
- Dress in costume and portray a scary character during our haunted car wash event
- Remain in an assigned position or area throughout the event
- Scare, surprise, and interact with customers as they make their way through the haunted wash
- Stay in character and help create a fun, spooky, high-energy atmosphere
- Follow event instructions and all safety guidelines
- Assist with basic event setup or breakdown as needed
Costumes and props can be provided if needed!
What We’re Looking For
- Must have weekend availability
- Must be available to work evening/nighttime event hours
- Scare Actors will be scheduled according to event and staffing needs
- Comfortable wearing costumes, masks, makeup, or other Halloween attire
- Energetic, dependable, and comfortable interacting with the public
- Able to stay in character and have fun while still following directions and safety requirements
- Previous acting or haunted-attraction experience is a plus, but not required
Pay
$12.00 per hour
This opportunity is specifically for Sparkle Car Wash’s annual Halloween event and is a temporary short-term position for casual labor. It is not an offer of regular or ongoing employment. Individuals selected for the event will receive an offer letter outlining the temporary, casual nature of the work.
