About Us Artistic Glass is a family-owned architectural glass company with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality, custom glass solutions. We're entering a new phase of growth and modernization, and we're looking for a hands-on team player to join us in the shop and on job sites.
Role Overview We're seeking a motivated Shop Technician to work in-house measuring, cutting, and assembling glass products, while occasionally supporting field installations and coordinating with suppliers and team members. This role is ideal for someone comfortable with tools, detail-oriented, and willing to wear multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and cut glass to precise specifications
- Assemble glass units, frames, and related hardware
- Occasionally coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and team members
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining an organized shop
- Occasionally support installers on job sites as needed
- Ensure quality control and accuracy in all shop work
Qualifications
- Experience in glass cutting, fabrication, or a related trade preferred
- Strong measuring and math skills
- Ability to lift glass and materials safely
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- English required, Spanish preferred (bilingual a plus)
Compensation
- $17.00–$20.00/hr depending on experience
- Overtime pay available for field work
