We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/CAD Drafter to join our construction team. This role focuses on reviewing construction drawings, performing material take-offs, and preparing accurate cost estimates and bids.
Most projects come with provided drawings. The ideal candidate must be able to read plans, extract quantities, request vendor pricing, and help prepare competitive proposals. This is not a design drafting role it is focused on estimating, bidding, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
Perform material take-offs and cost estimates
Prepare bids and proposals
Request and compare vendor/subcontractor pricing
Track multiple projects and maintain organized bid documentation
Support project managers with budgeting and estimating tasks
Requirements
Ability to read construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and organization
Experience with estimating or takeoff tools (preferred)
Excel skills required
Construction experience preferred
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
