Responsibilities
- Prepare banquet areas by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary equipment according to event specifications.
- Preventative Maintenance on tables, chairs, banquet equipment.
- Assist in deep cleaning during slower months to maintain and assure that banquet spaces are ready for season.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure all items are ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any needs or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred, particularly in banquet or catering settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in serving, bussing, or restaurant operations is advantageous.
- Culinary experience or training is a plus but not required.
