1099 Subcontractors Wanted - Doors and Trim Install

Location: Moab, UT

Duration: 6 Months

Pay: Contractor will be asked to provide a SQFT price based off plans

Scope: Installation of all exterior doors, interior doors, shelving, cleating, base material, and hardware.  

Pay: Invoice Net 30 - After Completion & Submitted Invoice

Crew: 3-4 man crew 

Schedule: 4 units per day 

SUBCONTRACTORS NEEDED FOR ONSITE INSTALLATION OF DOORS AND TRIM PRODUCTS.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE OWN TRUCK, TOOLS, UTAH CONTRACTOR LICENSE, BUSINESS LICENSE, W9, GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE, WORKER'S COMP (NO EXCEPTIONS), & ALTERING FORKLIFT LICENSE.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This key position is responsible for making our customers' projects come to life and ensuring all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. This position is responsible for all site preparation work as well as installation of all product. 

JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must be able to use various hand/power tools and have a working knowledge of doors & trim. Must have previously completed at least 1 multi-family project. The Subcontractor must also possess solid customer service skills as this position is the main point of contact with our valued customers while their project is in the process of installation. Must be able to effectively coordinate with site superintendent. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep up with schedule. 4 Units/Day 
• Commute to job site; meet with customer; accurately perform required scope of work.
• Performs duties in compliance with OSHA, HAZCOM, and other pertinent safety and government regulations.
• Supervise unloading of all materials on vehicles.
• Distribute all material into building and into the correct units. 
• Responsible for installation of all exterior doors, interior doors, shelving, cleating, base material, and hardware.
• Cut and organize all materials necessary to properly install the job. 
• Install product with accuracy and quality workmanship.
• Upon completion of the job double checks all work to ensure quality and cleanliness throughout the job site.
• Review all necessary information regarding the completion of the job with Artisan Millwork management to ensure satisfaction.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Subcontractor is regularly required to stand, lift, climb, and bend. The Subcontractor must frequently lift and/or move 50 – 100 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
