Café Attendant

General Summary
The Café Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting the overall operation of the café. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a friendly attitude to ensure every guest has a positive experience.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, pastries, and light meals according to café standards.
• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness of café tables, counters, equipment, and service areas.
• Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and merchandise.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory control and report shortages to management.
• Support team members in daily operations and special events; work effectively with all Artis—Naples team members
• Address customer inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

•  Previous customer service, café, or food service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food handling certification (if required by state/local regulations).

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
