General Summary
The Café Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting the overall operation of the café. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a friendly attitude to ensure every guest has a positive experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, pastries, and light meals according to café standards.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of café tables, counters, equipment, and service areas.
- Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and merchandise.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and report shortages to management.
- Support team members in daily operations and special events; work effectively with all Artis—Naples team members
- Address customer inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Education
