Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Resolves and communicates status of all Tier 1 type service tickets for the EHR system.
- Assures that the organization is compliant with HIPAA security standards related to EHR operations.
- Assists with EHR database management and reporting.
- Works with clinical staff in reporting accurate information and building reports in the EHR that assist in monitoring quality.
- Works closely with software vendors relating to the Organization’s EHR functionality to assure that the organization’s technology investment is realized on an operational level.
- Assists with monthly EHR-related data reporting.
- Assists in designing and conducting effective training on EHR and software for employees on using the information systems in collaboration with financial and clinical staff.
- Stays abreast of the information technology field through continuing education and networking with other professionals in the community health center and community mental health fields.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.

- Familiarity in network and equipment security
- Ability to work with human service professionals.
- Solid working knowledge of FQHC/CCBHO operations.
- Ability to work multiple high priority tickets simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Electronic Health Record functionality (Nextgen preferred).
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in technology-related area preferred.
- 2 years work experience in EHR and/or technology support-related field
