Key Responsibilities:
Financial Close & Reporting
- Oversee the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Maintain accuracy across revenue recognition, operational liabilities, and expense accounting
- Prepare and review reconciliations tied to business activity and operational metrics
- Ensure financial records remain audit-ready and compliant with internal standards
Process Improvement & Operational Accounting
- Develop and refine accounting workflows to improve efficiency and consistency
- Strengthen month-end accrual procedures and supporting documentation
- Implement controls and standardized processes across accounting operations
- Identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions in a fast-paced environment
Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with operations and finance teams to align transactional activity with financial reporting
- Reconcile data between operational platforms and accounting systems
- Create scalable procedures that improve visibility and reporting accuracy
- Support process integration efforts across multiple business functions
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor accounting staff while promoting accountability and professional development
- Provide hands-on support during peak close and reporting cycles
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Assist in scaling the accounting function as the organization continues to grow
Audit & Growth Support
- Coordinate audit preparation and maintain supporting schedules and documentation
- Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting support, and financial analysis
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance scalability and operational readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong background in operational accounting and month-end close management
- Experience improving or building accounting processes within a growing organization
- Ability to work within environments that involve multiple systems or non-integrated platforms
- Hands-on experience with consolidations and multi-entity accounting structures
- Proven ability to balance leadership responsibilities with direct execution
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
