Artemis Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist to support a busy, multi-specialty medical practice.
Position Name: Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Norwalk & Ridgefield, CT
Employment Type: Direct-Hire & Permanent
Setting: Multi-Specialty Outpatient Practice
Pay: $22-$26 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday | Full-Time (shifts scheduled between 7:45am-6:30pm)
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a medical front desk role (at least 2-3 years).
- Strong background in patient-facing responsibilities (check-in/check-out, scheduling, phones).
- Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment with multiple providers.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between nearby office locations (mileage reimbursement is provided).
Job Summary:
- Serve as the first point of contact, delivering a professional and welcoming patient experience.
- Manage front desk operations including registration, check-in/check-out, and appointment scheduling.
- Handle inbound calls, coordinate patient flow, and maintain accurate scheduling records.
- Support administrative and operational needs across multiple office locations.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
- Structured onboarding with hands-on training and shadowing.
