At Artemis Tea & Botanical, we believe tea is more than a beverage. It is ritual, connection, curiosity, and care. We are a growing botanical tea company rooted in herbal integrity, sensory craft, and genuine relationship with our community. We blend, pack, and ship hundreds of orders each week from our studio in Omaha, and we supply wholesale accounts across the region with teas that reflect our values. This role sits at the very center of that work—the human voice of our brand, and the operational backbone of how our customers and accounts experience us.

THE ROLE

This is a dual-function, full-time position that requires someone equally comfortable at a fulfillment table and behind an inbox—calm under pressure, warmly professional, and deeply organized. You will spend part of your day working alongside our fulfillment team, helping ensure that hundreds of online orders each week are packed accurately and shipped on time. The rest of your day belongs to communication: answering customer inquiries with clarity and care, managing wholesale account relationships, coordinating reorders, and supporting the growth of new accounts.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates beautifully in writing, and wants to grow with a brand they believe in. You will be a primary point of contact for both our retail customers and our wholesale partners — and the quality of those relationships matters deeply to us. Experience in wholesale coordination, e-commerce, or customer-facing roles is a meaningful advantage.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Customer Relations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for all customer inquiries across email and online channels, responding with accuracy, warmth, and Artemis brand voice
• Resolve order issues, shipping concerns, and product questions with professionalism and calm, and escalate thoughtfully when needed
• Foster ongoing customer relationships that reflect the care and integrity at the heart of the Artemis brand
• Maintain accurate and organized customer records

Order Fulfillment Support

• Work alongside our fulfillment team to pack and process high volumes of online orders accurately and on time
• Help track order status, flag discrepancies, and support shipping logistics in coordination with our fulfillment lead
• Navigate Shopify, shipping platforms, and order management systems (training provided as needed)

Wholesale Coordination

• Manage day-to-day communication with existing wholesale accounts — reorder coordination, invoicing support, and relationship check-ins
• Support wholesale account retention through proactive, attentive communication that makes our partners feel valued
• Assist with wholesale growth by coordinating outreach, follow-up, and sample fulfillment under the direction of leadership
• Help maintain accurate wholesale account records and communication logs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—clear, warm, and professional in every interaction
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a single workday
• Calm under pressure, especially during high-volume order periods
• Experience in customer service, retail, wholesale coordination, e-commerce, or order fulfillment— preferred but not required
• Comfortable with or willing to learn Shopify, shipping platforms, spreadsheets, and standard workplace software
• Reliable, positive, and genuinely aligned with what Artemis stands for
• Familiarity with the tea, wellness, botanical, or specialty food world is a meaningful plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, growing small business environment

A note on wholesale: This function will grow into the role over your first 60–90 days. We want you to know Artemis well before you represent us to our wholesale partners. You will not be expected to carry the full weight of wholesale on day one, but we do need someone with the capacity and desire to grow into it.
