Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Torrance, CA

Salary Range: $35-38/hr on w2

Contract: 6 months, possible extension

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering technology and a passion for improving efficiency and performance in various operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in the field
• Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
• Expertise in electro-mechanical systems, including the ability to analyze blueprints and electrical schematics
• Proficiency in J-standard soldering for new and rework on printed circuit boards
• Experience in the manufacturing and repair of cables and harnesses
• Skills in computer repairs and the fabrication of test boxes
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
  
  

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Leadership experience, including directing and leading the work of others
• Creative problem-solving skills and a wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Experience in planning and accomplishing goals with minimal supervision
  
  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency
• Establish standard production rates in the performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations
• Perform a variety of complicated tasks and report to a manager or head of a unit/department
